If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
I have the same issue with an ES 3508A
The image (copy or printout) gradually became abnormally Light but when i access the toner density check under Adress 2000 in service mode the density meter shows 230% but in result the image is two light. I think i have a toner density sensor issue.
Can anybody tell me how to reset this sensors settings and or decrease the sensor sensitivity to increase the Toner density in the developper assembly ...
Thanknyou Guys.

thanks for posting a problem to a totally different machine in a thread where the OP hasn't returned to tell us of the fix over a year later.
Clean optics.
Wand the slit glasses.
Perform a calibration.
And if you want a serious reply I'll need an image to look at. =^..^=

I am so sorry for resurrecting this issue, but a friend of mine has exact the same problem these days. It happens right after a regular PM - drum, developer, PM-KIT etc, all of them original. Optics, laser slit glas has been cleaned as it should be. All the calibrations as described in manual are done. Solid black is ok, but 5-10-20-30% grey are missing when printing MS excel table for example... I have go through cleaning and settings myself, too. No difference. Firmware is v1900 which is one step before latest v1910. Codes concerning printing for low and mid grey does not makes any difference, too. What I am missing?

I'll never ask if I didn't check user manual, service manual, parts list, BSI/TNI/TAD... web, existing threads.
Chances are the transfer roller was installed incorrectly. check to make sure the rollers are in the slot, and the gear is oriented the right way.
Thank You for your input. I forgot to say that second transfer roller and whole cleaner unit (drum+blade+led erase) taken from another machine does not solve the problem, too.
