I have Sharp Mx-6071 Color MFP. But it has E7-03 and U2-60 errors. I changed HDD (500GB HDD) but it is not working for MFP. I want procedure for changing HDD and installing Firmware and Installing watermark, E-Manual and OCR software. Please help me for solve this problems. and Please give me software. Please help me.
Did the U2-60 code come up after replacing the HDD? Was the E7-03 the original error code that you addressed by replacing the HDD? I have replaced quite a few HDDs recently on this family of machines, and I never had to update the firmware or install the watermark after replacing it. If you are still getting the E7-03 code after replacing the HDD, you should replace the SCN MFP PWB. Then you will want to update the firmware and install the watermark. Make sure to back up the machine data in Service Mode, if you are able to, before replacing the PWB

woah woah, hold your horses on a $700 board! Let's make sure the HDD is actually within spec first. Most people just throw a random 500GB HDD in there, which, yes, normally should work, but it has to be the same or greater for read/write speed AND cache. Most HDD's you find should be fine, but if it's an old model, it will more than likely not work.
"but it is not working"
Do we have to guess what's not working ?
Even after inserting the new hdd, the E7-03 error comes back. The hdd does not format in service mode. But when I insert the hdd that came with the copier, it formats. The e7-03 error goes away and the u2-60 error comes back. But after a while, the e7-03 comes back. Please help me.
Make sure the HDD is totally blank. I use Active Killdisk to write zero first or use a brand new one. Otherwise you will have trouble. If that doesn't work then you need a new MFPC
Also make sure you didn't break the HDD connector off of the PWB. It's very easy to do if your not careful when you unplug it. You can also check the LED status on the MFPC PWB.
Is there a DSK? Also, try booting into CN Update mode and see if you can update firmware that way. Otherwise, the eMMC/mSata could be bad. Getting the files isn't going to help because your mSata should be able to help write the files that the HDD needs and within 10 minutes you should be back up and running.
