Hi all, i have one maybe stupid question what will hapn is there is to much developer in developer unit?
I think that i have that problem becouse the machine add to much tonner in developer unit, dev eloper unit i think that there is to much developer so please what will hapen if there is to much developer
The only way to get too much dev in the unit is to add it without completely dumping out the old. In any case it wont cause it to add too much toner. Developer isnt consumed, it is the carrier for the toner. Ready to spend a lot of money fixing it, go ahead, dump developer and add a new batch, reset the autotone. Or save some money and call a tech.

Jomama is right on the mark.
If some old developer is left in, and then developer is added you end up with too much developer. It's possible that the developing unit may not be able to turn. In that case, you would get blank prints, and possibly developer density codes. If the developing unit can still turn, the machine will try to maintain the toner density, but in the end it will undertone, leading to light prints or developer dumping, or both. If you suspect that there is too much developer, the best solution is to dump out the developer, then vacuum out the rest. Install new developer. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.

Thank the answers will now try to explain better the problem. So when developer unit is out of the machine and when I manually turn the wheels then it is fine toner has deployed everywhere Nowhere is white. After that when you return the unit back developer first 200 copies are good. After 200 copies began to appear white on one side of the sheet. When take out the developer unit situation is like the pictures. The hole where you have to enter is full of toner to the end while the side is white as the wheels of the images.
Now is the time when it is really important to know what model Ricoh that you are working on.
It sounds to me like you are losing developer drive. So the toner is consumed off the front of the mag roller, but since the mag roller isn't turning that toner is not getting replaced, and the toner in the feed opening is not getting mixed in. I would check the drive coupler for the developing unit. =^..^=

Considering how much developer that you have already lost in the bottom of the machine, you will definitely need to replace developer. Also check that your machine is level, front to back. If the machine tips to the front, most of the developer will slowly move to the front. Also check the drive gears for good engagement. If I remember correctly you should be able to see if the mag roller is turning, with the front door interlocked. I the gears are skipping you will feel a rhythmic thumping through the front of the developing unit. =^..^=

looking at those pictures it looks as though the stiring augers inside the dev unit are broken so the dev doesnt get turned or move down the dev box - i had one a while back doing the same thing. When you fill the dev unit up its even but when its in use it doesnt move the dev back down the dev box for even distribution so you get half covered mag roller - ties in with the amount of toner stuck in the toner chute for the dev box because it cant go anywhere.
