I am back to photocopier world after 5 years. Bought a new shop in my town & started photocopier work 1 week ago with xerox 8045 but sadly its having many faults again & again in few hours. The Seller agreed to return the machine in exchange of Panasonic 8035.
Guys is that a good option to use that machine as i have around 500 to 600 copies per day only. (mostly 30-40 copies in an hour)
Also, the reading counter of that machine is around 7,00,000 . Is it worth for me to run it at shop.
Panasonic has not made any copiers for several years. Parts are hard or impossible to find and genuine toner is almost nonexistant. Copy count is on the extreme high end.
Had a school system with over 300 Panasonic 80xx machines; I still have trouble sleeping.
The 8035 had the worst fuser of the series with a long web that stalled and a press roll which had the strength and integrity of a Jimmy Dean breakfast sausage.
At 7 million it would make a nice addition to an extinct technology museum.
13 years old and 7M copies? Don't do it. It's a boat anchor. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
Unfortunately or Fortunately ( may be ) i have got the panasonic 8035 & its working almost fine. i am printing 500 to 600 copies daily on that. the only problem i am facing right now is
1) Its print gets weak after 3-4 days. ( I contacted Tech guy & he told me to go to F6 > 21 > & change the values to +22 & go to F4 & Run 051 for 1 minute) & the print gets sharp & fine for 3-4 days. Even he cleaned tonor sensors too but problem is still there.
But i am happy with PAN 8035 due to fast warmup time of less then 30 seconds. i hope to print around 30,000 to 40,000 copies & will cover the price of this machine. then i will buy Bizhub 601 in few months.

Yes! 7 months passed!!! i did bought that 8035 & now i am very fine with that machine. though the speed is slow but not much maintenance required except routing cleanup of drum / coronawires after 20-25 days. rest its a very outclass machine
I'm considering using the Panasonic 8035 for my business, as I only need to make around 500 to 600 copies per day. Do you think this would be a suitable option for my needs? I appreciate your advice and any insights you can provide. Handyman Sioux City
