I swapped MK kit on this machine 1,5 months ago. Run necessary maintenance modes and updated firmware to v.05.07.0010_(2016-06-27)
Everthing was ok.
But now there are faded lines on black.
I added samples:
PG grey scale - PG GRAY SCALE.pdf | DocDroid
halftones calibration page - halftones calibration page.pdf | DocDroid
a copy made when scanner cover was open - scanned copy of open lid.pdf | DocDroid
All have same faded white lines in them.
Calibration page and the copy is printed Long Edge First.
Toner and all parts are OEM.
Ok first i removed developer and shaked the hell out of it nothing changed...
Ok so i executed U910.
Then executed U412 uneven density
The ON/OFF config was set to ON.
Then I tried U410, it printed out samples but did not recognize samples when scanned them and gave me error S001. Propably due poor quality.

Any ideas where to go next?
You replaced 600k Maintenance kit?
Kit Includes: (1) Drum Unit [302N993030] (1) Developer Unit [302LH93034] (1) Fuser Unit [302LH93102] (2) Top Filter [302N433010] (2) Left Side Filter [302LC33370] (1) Belt Assembly SP [302LF94060] (1) Disposal Unit Assembly [302N794020] (2) Drum Duct Seal
You need to run the following depending on what you replaced:
Drum: U119, 464, 412, 410
DV: U464, 410
PCR: 930
Transfer Belt: 127, 464, 410
The 600k kit does not include the transfer roller. You may want to check that.

Thats the thing that got in my mind also. Cause i measured the black lines on printout - they were ~45mm apart and the manual indicates that transfer roller repetitive defect gauge is 44mm.
Yep changed all the MK kit parts and run all those modes.

I think you have your answer.
Adversity temporarily visits a strong man but stays with the weak for a lifetime.
I think Billy means the Second Transfer Roller, not the Primary Transfer Roller. You know, the one on the outer door? =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Well.. yes i was looking also the secondary transfer roller, but i did not find it
And i did not find it in manual... So i was assuming that this machine has none... and therefore i was wondering whats the point of transfer belt here :P
You are correct, the monochrome MFP uses a transfer belt assembly with a transfer roller in the center,
and the color MFP uses a second transfer roller only.
The way Kyocera names their machines it's easy to confuse 3501i with 3051ci at a glance.

Probably not. Often the manufacturer of those modular connectors positions one of the pins longer than the others. If you look closely I think you'll see that they're the same. I've noticed it, just don't know why. =^..^=
