How is going guys, how you guys had a nice Eastersunday, Today here looking for your expertise, I had a client that wants notifications send to me when the toner is about to finish, what I know so far is that in Status Notification Settings the machine can send notifications to anyone with a email address but only when the toner is finish. My question is there is any other way where I can make this machine to send notifications when is about to finish so we can send a new Toner.
I was thinking maybe there is a software switch to set to make this happen or you guys have any other suggestions.
thanks

If you are a dealer, CSRC seems to work well

This is KM world leaders in this industry and No you can't use email notifications in proper way, only when it's too late. Otherwise yes, CSRC and other third party (usually paid) data collecting softwares will do the job.

Re: konica I series-Status notification settings-HELP
Maybe I have found something. Will test later.
- Update machine FW.
- Set Software SW No.210 (bit 4)
0x10:Enabled
- That should then allow to add notifications "toner near empty" and "waste toner bottle almost full" under :
[Utility]
[Administrator]
[Maintenance]
[Status Notification Setting]

Doesn't seem to work.
Tested on C250i with FWs P8 and Q6.
I have no desire to go back to downgrade FW GP8-75 to test.

Many thanks , we were hoping that the switch update and firmware would bring this function in the list as it does for the new C3351i machine range
As we're running same FW and functional version on 0i machines as 1i machines my logic tells me it's some soft switch related. I have and will compare as soon as I can soft switches on 2 machines. Hopefully we will make it work. Stay tuned.

Hi Bizhubfixer
As I understand it, you need a solution for devices to send alerts about running out of toner directly to your email. At the same time, you would like to have an influence on the setting at what % of toner consumption the device will send a notification (toner c, m, y, k near empty) so that you can deliver it in time. The first solution for individual machines in different locations is to run notifications in Administrator mode, unfortunately you will never have an influence on the settings in this mode. The second, more reliable solution is the SCRC service or an application that supports it, the configuration in this case is included in service mode and is password protected. No other software based on DCA such as xxxxxfleet makes sense due to the maintenance costs, complicated and time-consuming installation process and problems with firewalls in the user network.
