Canon C9060 Pro image Runner/Video cards can not be detected
Canon C9060 Pro image Runner/Video cards can not be detected
Hello!
I have a Canon 9060C Advance printer. When I turn on the fiery it says - ' Video cards can not be detected, make sure they are installed'. I check the video cards are installed. Also when I turn on the fiery it says that a new hardware was found - and you need to install EFI vx500.sys file. I cano not find this file anywhere to download.
My canon representitive says that video cards are defective - is this real?

Or it is related to this missing software?
hello what kind of server?
There are some servers that look like a PC (they have a video card) where the interface cable that links the printer to the server is connected. turn off the server, disconnect the plugs, cables and connectors, remove the video card (interface) and clean it with fiber-free paper or contact cleaner, if you can also change the port to the video card. then assemble everything and turn on the server, if the problem persists try to change the interface cable, video card or reinstall the server software system

Thanks for your suggestion! I have done all the steps. It seems that the system is the problem. My Fiery is Efi GX300. But the problem is that I do not have server software CD..

The other thing you could do is enter the service mode: copier - option - interface - imagecont - from 3 change it to 0, click ok and restart the printer again. This option will make the machine not recognize the server and enable the UFR printing kit option, so you can print with the ufr driver that comes by default in most Canon Advance printers, but you will have to modify the network cable connection and configure the ip on the printer so you can print for a while... if you have a technician nearby ask him if he can do the job for you
