So, I've used the gamut of leasing companies over the years, but none of them seem interested in even getting back to you in a timely manner when you have a customer who wants to lease.
The ones I can recall using are Great America (won't use them again, Dealers First (same), Marlin (has a new name, but extremely poor customer service), and now even Balboa (too busy to get back to me and only lease
equipment over $5K minimum.)
So what gives?
Any suggestions appreciated. And if you can provide your rep's name and #, that would be helpful.

Re: Who are you guys using for LEASING these days???
I feel your pain. I just went thru this process myself and made a thread. Link at bottom.
What I learned.
Leasing companies are spooked by this economy and I was told that leasing companies don't think they're making enough off these deals. A couple of big one don't do office equipment anymore.
Marlin did get back to me via email and the communication was good enough. I had no luck via phone. Paramount Financial was the most responsive but their rates are higher.

You don't mention in your profile what manufacturers you are an authorized dealer for. Quite often the manufacturers have their own leasing company that helps them push product out the door or at least will recommend one that will be helpful to their dealers. If all you are doing is pushing used equipment, most lease companies do not want to help because they have gotten burned too many times by end of lease machines that had not been maintained properly.

Allow me to answer for OC Tim. He was a long time Toshiba dealer but switched I believe for good to Konicas last years. We know each other since smarka days and he is being very very good independent like copyman, Hans and others here.
I would take his words for granted anytime despite he is getting a little grumpy with age... but who doesn't

Dealing with slow responses is a real buzzkill! Personally, I've had good experiences with leasing agencies, and they've been pretty quick to respond. They helped me lease my last piece of equipment hassle-free. But hey, it's always good to explore different options! Have you considered checking out Mortgage Broker in Barnsley? They may not do leasing, but they can offer expert financial advice to guide you through tricky questions and help you make sound decisions. Sometimes, it's better to have someone in your corner who can navigate through the tricky financial waters. Leasing can be a real game-changer, so finding the right leasing partner is essential. Keep searching, and I'm sure you'll find a company that values your business and treats you like a VIP!
