Good morning everyone! I'm a new tech with an office supply company here in Billings MT. My whole life I've wanted a "techy" kind of career. After many bad choices and life circumstances i finally made it at ripe age of 33.
I've done construction and "labor" type jobs most of my life. I've always maintained a healthy desire for learning and technical hobbies. I'm a Amateur radio operator, and life long PC repair enthusiast. like many people my age I was the family member who was the VCR programmer, the computer fixer, and cell phone feature tutor.
I'm super excited to learn about MFP's and other "copier" tech. I hope to learn a great deal from the guys/gals on this site, and my fellow co-workers here in the real life. Thanks for having me and i look forward to utilizing this site as one of my tools in my Copier Tech arsenal.
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Re. Augural morse code.
Yes it can be a rewarding experience, provided you can push through the initial learning curb.
The more attune you become with morse code, the more you begin disregard the individual dot and dashs as you start to recognize whole words instead.
Some of the old Vets I came across would listen to morse code and just start laughing. The juniors(me) would ask "what is so funny?" The Vets would say "don't worry they're just telling jokes over morse code." The old vets recognize whole words ,not single tones.
